The Transmitter Shop Manifolds

Instrumentation manifolds are used with pressure instruments in process instrumentation lines. These instruments feature several valves in one body and possess multiple connections. They are used with pressure instruments for measuring as well as equalizing static, differential, and gauge pressures. They do this by calibrating, blocking, and bleeding. The Transmitter Shop (TTS) provides various types of instrumentation manifolds for use in process instrumentation lines. Our selection features 2-valve and 3-valve manifolds, which are used with pressure switches, transmitters, and gauges. All the transmitter shop manifolds are designed as compact units for constrained spaces.

Types of Manifolds Offered by The Transmitter Shop

The Transmitter Shop (TTS) offers different models of 2-valve and 3-valve manifolds. The following are a few popular models available with us.

What is 2-Valve and 3-Valve Manifold?

The 2-valve manifold features a single block with a female screwed inlet and outlet port. This port combines a vent valve/calibration valve and an isolation valve. However, the three-valve manifold features an equalizing valve and two blocking valves. Among these, are a high pressure and low pressure blocking valves and an equalizing valve. Three-valve manifolds are used in differential pressure instruments such as differential pressure switches, differential pressure transmitters, and gauges.

Why Use The Transmitter Shop Manifolds

Our Manifolds have gained immense popularity in the process since their inception. The following reasons substantiate their popularity.

  • The manifolds help minimize pressure loss between valves.
  • They can perform multiple tasks such as pressure equalization, isolation, blocking, and bleeding of pressure meters and transmitters.
  • Our 3-valve manifolds can be used for flow control, as well as the differential measurement of fluids.
  • These devices come in handy when designing and customizing the process line across industries.
  • Our Manifolds allow onsite calibration. The calibration can be done using the outlet of the drain valve.
  • Many models of our manifolds are offered in multiple materials, including 316L SS, 316 SS, 304 SS, and carbon steel.
  • They require fewer fittings and have no tubing or hoses.
  • These manifolds help improve the process efficiency.

Applications

The Transmitter Shop Manifolds are widely used in the following industries.

  • Oil and gas
  • Chemical
  • Power
  • Wastewater
  • Steel
  • Pulp and paper

At The Transmitter Shop, we understand the requirements of the process industries. This is why all our manifolds are carefully designed to meet the needs of different process instrumentation. They are inspired by popular designs and are tested to assure performance in challenging environments. Many models are designed for a maximum working pressure of 6000 PSI at 100°C. We can also provide valves for a maximum of 10000 PSI working pressure. Get in touch with our team today to discuss your requirements. We would be happy to help you with the proper selection.
